I need to find a group i can be insured with because i will no longer be able to have preexisting conditions covered under an individual plan. i’ve been told there are professional or other types of organizations which I could belong to, for which group insurance is available to their members. i’d join any organization if i could qualify, to obtain insurance. i have worked in the accounting, IT, hospitality, management, business and wine industries… Thanks

My employer is offering group insurance. My individual insurance seems like a better deal but everyone keeps saying group is better? Why is this?
I do not have insurance now. my employer is not going to pay any portion of it, but he says by having group it will ensure that I not be dropped if it turns out that I do have something serious. I don’t feel that i am in good health and I haven’t been to a doctor so that I won’t be diagnosed with any pre-existing conditions. The group insurance is very expensive compared to an individual plan. any advice?

My work decided to discontinue our group health insurance plan and are switching to individual health insurance. The insurance i signed up for does not cover maternity. Iam about a month along and live in wisconsin if that helps any. Just wondering what options are out there for insurance. With my boyfriend and i, i dont think we would exceed guidelines for badgercare from what i understood on their website.
