Your deductible could be a lot, you may not be able to pick the doc of your choice, they may not accept a pre-existing condition, your co-pays might be a lot, they may not cover a lot of services that the doctor orders…..

I agree with the above comment. The insurance we have requires about a 1/3 of my husband’s paycheck and covers nothing. Two people have to meet a deductible which is $5,000! We haven’t seen a doctor in over a decade. If you can afford an insurance with a co-pay, that will save you from a lot of expense when something suddenly comes up.
