Cheap health insurance? Im a middle 30′s single male. Is there a place I can compare quickly like car insuran?
I filled out one thing but it turned out to be almost a phishing scam.
Im about to do COBRA, but I think I can get something cheaper.
Im also in SC if that matters.
Any guesses?

They are all almost fishing scams. If you are a healthy, single male, you can almost defintley get something cheaper through an indivdual company.
The easiest one is ehealthinsurance.com. But agents (not me, but others) subscribe to this site and will call/email you. But in most states, you have an agent anyway, so it really doesn’t matter. But it will give you the info.
Or go to bcbs, aetna, humana and get quotes yourself.
If you are between jobs and just want short term catastrophic coverage (meaning it only covers something in the hospital), try Golden Rule

I would just get many quotes from different companies then pick the best/cheapest one. When researching health insurance you might want to try and bookmark this site for research information, news, articles, insurance quotes, companies, links and more. It should have the resources/links to help you with your question.

All those online websites, they are just harvesting your personal information to sell to agents as leads.
If you’re healthy with nothing wrong with you, and a healthy weight, you probably CAN get coverage cheaper. If you’ve got anythign wrong with you, or you’re overweight, it will probably cost MORE than cobra, if you can find a company willing to insure you at all.
So, your best bet is to do a yahoo search for a local health insurance agent, who can give you multiple quotes at once – and won’t sell your personal information.

Look up SC health insurance broker and find someone that does business there to help you.
